| Rofl, took me five minutes to remember to allow Xanga with NoScript (Firefox addon). I was like, Xanga hates me, it won't let me type. XD
I want a couple of new graphics cards for my compy babies, but all my money is having to go to "practical stuff". I'm getting a microwave for my birthday. :/ Oh well, I did hear that they have gone down in price some, so I'll have to check out Newegg later. Maybe I can forgo some books for it, or maybe my CE: TBC will pay for one, if I ever get off of my lazy booty and put it up on Ebay.
My car is freaking out on me again. Last night I thought the power steering was out, but when I drove to Pepboys to get some fluid I discovered the entire car was responding slowly. Guess I'll take it to Gagnon's in the morning. That's teh suck.
Have a dive (for UCSI class) on Monday, but I really don't want to go. The public schools (and probably GCCC, they usually get the same days off) get the day off, why doesn't FSU? That, and I don't have a thick enough wetsuit at the moment, so I'd have to layer two 3 mm on top of each other, plus the hood, plus gloves. Uuugghhh. And because we dive in cold water every single week I've still got a cold, one I've had for almost two months now. I'll probably not go, I'll say I'm sick. We have an all day dive next Saturday anyway (the day I usually have my bday party). Then I have class again on my birthday (2/26). I want to drop the class. I really don't like the amount of time I have to sacrifice to learn about a specialization in my field that I will never go into.
Anyway... I gotta head.

| Haven't updated this thing in a while. I guess I'm using Myspace pretty exclusively now (not that I update it often either), unfortunately. I prefer Xanga by a LOT, but almost everyone has made the switch. Bah, who cares? Life's going good, though pretty busy. Planning the wedding, taking classes, getting ready for the big move, etc. is all pretty intensive. Still good though. Hope your's is going well also. | | |
| No, this isn't some emo rant. I wish it was, actually, and that it was
all just some myth of teenage angsty fantasy. If any of you see Kevin,
go easy on him.
One month ago today his great-grandmother (on his dad's side) died of
cancer. Last week, he went to his Grandpa Joe's funeral (again, on his
dad's side). Early this morning, his uncle, Jody, died in a car
accident (you guessed it, his dad's side).
They are going through a lot
right now. Just a few months ago they found out that Jody's teenage
daughter had had a baby (and didn't tell her dad for a month), and that
another one of Kevin's cousins, another teenage girl, is pregnant. Then
all this. It's all happening too fast, too much for one family. No one
should have to go through that. Kevin's dad is taking it the hardest.
Losing his grandmother, father, and brother in one month is just too
hard. If you pray, pray for them. They need it.

| I know almost no one reads xanga anymore, but if you do, please say a little prayer for Kevin. His great-grandmother is really sick (and is not getting better short of a miracle), and he is going to tell his parents something this week that I don't think they are going to like.

| Why is it that when one thing in life goes wrong, everything goes wrong?
Let's just fastforward to next June, that would be much better.
